  1. Comfort is very important when one is travelling around in a RV, specially if one has been driving or hiking all day long. We are currently converting our van to travel around Australia, so will be needing a comfortable, yet affordable, mattress when the conversion is complete, so it is very helpful to find this review and comparison of the top two brands.

I am very sensitive to chemicals and chemicals in soft furnishings and foam can trigger my allergy. So are these mattresses hypo-allergenic and suitable for allergy sufferers? Or do you have a recommendation for allergy sufferers? Thank you.

    1. This sounds exciting, I hope you enjoy your Australian adventures.

As for an answer to your question, I’ve discovered throughout both of the mentions in my post, that none of them have a specific answer to that question in the FAQ section. This is something that might be worth doing so in their websites, which I have linked in the article.

The other solution I could offer, is another review page called Best Hypoallergenic Mattress for Allergies of 2022 | Sleep Foundation but this focuses more on home mattresses.

      I hope this helps.

  2. Your comprehensive review of the best RV mattresses is truly informative and valuable. I’m impressed by the detailed analysis you’ve provided for two top brands, GhostBed and Tochta, highlighting their features, benefits, and customer experiences. Your comparison of various aspects, such as comfort, materials, warranty, and trial period, gives readers a clear understanding of what each brand offers. I find it particularly intriguing how you delve into the construction and composition of each mattress, explaining the foam layers and their unique properties. The customer reviews you’ve included provide a personal touch and offer real-world insights into the mattresses’ performance and user satisfaction. The range of mattress types and categories that GhostBed offers, as well as Tochta’s focus on customization, showcase the diversity within the RV mattress market. Your conclusion, where you rank both brands based on your personal evaluation, adds a thoughtful touch to your review. This article is a valuable resource for anyone seeking a comfortable and high-quality mattress for their RV adventures.

    1. Thank you so much Ashley for your kind input on these matresses. I’m glad you found this article “comforting”! Cheers!

  3. If you are traveling for any length of time in your RV, then you may as well have the most comfortable mattress that you can afford. This is the first time I have read about the Ghostbed range.

I am always careful when buying memory foam, as it is lovely in warm weather, but in winter I find it gets harder and unpliable. But I am glad to see this is a good mix and not memory foam alone. I am going to see if I can go and test these out before replacing our old matress.
