My Take on KOA
We stayed at a KOA near Phoenix, AZ on our way to Costa Rica. It was more expensive than I expected, and the maintenance wasn’t perfect. But it was safe, predictable, and exactly what we needed for a reset night.
That’s really the trade-off with KOA. You’re paying for brand familiarity and structure. Sometimes it’s worth it. Sometimes a smaller independent park might be better value.
