To start, e-commerce is one of the most popular online business models, and for good reason. What e-commerce allows you to do is, sell any product or service online to what is called your “target audience”.

To obtain such an audience the key is to find a brand that resonates with your audience. This brand can be a niche which can range from clothing and electronics to digital downloads and subscription services.

Getting started with an e-commerce business isn’t all that hard either. First, you’ll need to set up an online store and choose a platform to sell your products.

These online stores come in a variety of platforms. Some of the most popular ones are:

~ Shopify – which is a Canadian e-commerce online store with its headquarters in Canada.

~ WooCommerce – which is an open source plugin for WordPress users. WordPress is a platform where you learn to create a website.

~ BigCommerce – which is a platform used to provide software and services to retailers.

      Personally, of them all, I still lean towards Affiliate Marketing. It’s almost fool-proof, as the other suggestions tend to hone in more on personal skills. 

      Affiliate marketing can be applied to the other online business ideas, but not the other way around. You can’t be a freelancer and offer affiliate links, but you can be an affiliate marketer and offer freelance suggestions. Catch my driftt?

      As for it being prosperous, each of the choices above can ultimately lead you to financial freedom, but it depends on how quickly and efficiently you utilize your skills for which position.
