A proven Canadian truck-and-travel-trailer setup that has already made the journey through North and Central America and is now securely stored near San José, Costa Rica.
This package combines a 2020 Ram 1500 Crew Cab 5.7L HEMI, a 2019 KZ Sportsmen SE 260BHSE, towing equipment, tools, cookware, camping supplies and many of the practical items needed to operate an RV setup.
Sale is as-is and subject to completion of applicable ownership, secured-interest release and Costa Rican customs requirements.
Why We’re Selling
This rig has been part of our family’s full-time RV and international travel story for years. It took us from Canada through the United States, Mexico and Central America before becoming our home base in Costa Rica.
Our future travel plans are now taking us in a different direction. Rather than moving the entire package back through Central America and north into Canada, we’re exploring the sale of the truck and trailer where they already are.
That means the right buyer has an opportunity to purchase a complete RV setup already physically located in Costa Rica instead of sourcing a truck, trailer and equipment separately and then bringing everything south.

A Major Hitch Update
Readers who followed our original trip south may remember that the trailer hitch became part of the story. We experienced hitch problems during the Central America portion of our journey and documented those repairs publicly rather than pretending they never happened.
In 2026, the trailer received a newly welded hitch assembly. This is one of the more significant updates completed during our most recent period in Costa Rica.

This Rig Has a Documented History
One unusual advantage of this package is that much of its travel history has been publicly documented through Everything RVs and More and our YouTube channels.
The Original Journey South
Read the complete story of taking this Ram and KZ from Saskatchewan through Mexico and Central America to Costa Rica.
Returning the Rig to Service
Read what happened when we returned to Costa Rica, retrieved the units from storage and put them back into use.
See the Rig Camping in Costa Rica
This isn’t stock footage or a similar RV. This video from our Everything RVs and More channel shows the actual truck-and-trailer setup being used while camping in Costa Rica.
Watch the Pan-American Highway Journey
The Ram and KZ weren’t transported to Costa Rica on a carrier. We drove them here. This movie documents part of the actual Pan-American Highway journey that brought this rig from Canada through Mexico and Central America.

Where Are the Truck and Trailer Now?
In March 2026, before our family left Costa Rica, we drove the truck and trailer across Costa Rica and placed both units into secured storage near San José rather than hauling the entire setup back through Central America.
We documented that part of the story too:
The truck and trailer remain in storage at Terminales Unidas near San José, Costa Rica. We are currently in Canada.
How Would a Purchase Work?
Because the units are Canadian-owned assets presently stored in Costa Rica, this is not a normal parking-lot vehicle sale.
We are working to structure the transaction properly so both parties know exactly what must happen before possession changes.
- Review the complete listing. Understand the equipment, condition and known issues before contacting us.
- Ask questions. We will answer what we can from Canada and provide additional documentation where available.
- Arrange an inspection. A serious buyer can request access through the storage facility with our authorization.
- Agree on a conditional purchase. Any final sale would remain subject to applicable ownership, secured-interest and Costa Rican customs requirements.
- Complete legal/customs requirements. The appropriate parties handle transfer, customs, nationalization or other required procedures before release.
- Personal belongings are removed. Our excluded belongings will be removed before final possession.
- Terminales Unidas releases the units. Release occurs only after the required procedures and facility charges have been completed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy only the truck or only the trailer?
Our preference is to sell the complete package together. We may consider separating the units later if the right complete-package buyer does not materialize.
Can I inspect everything before buying?
Yes. Serious prospective buyers may request an inspection. Because the units are stored in a controlled facility, access must be arranged in advance and authorized.
Are the truck and trailer currently registered for road use?
The Saskatchewan registration and insurance are not currently active while the units remain in storage. Any future road use, transfer or Costa Rican customs process must be completed correctly before the units are driven.
Does the refrigerator work?
No. The refrigerator stopped working during our most recent period using the trailer and should be considered a repair/replacement item.
Does the trailer have an awning?
No. The previous awning was damaged by wind and is no longer installed.
What about the hitch repairs from your travel articles?
Those repairs are part of the rig’s documented history. In 2026, the trailer received a newly welded hitch assembly. A serious buyer should still inspect the hitch and towing components as part of their normal due diligence.
Is Starlink included?
Not automatically. We intend to retain the Starlink equipment unless a buyer specifically requests it and a proper equipment/account transfer can be arranged.
Are you offering financing?
No. This is a private sale and we are not offering seller financing.
Why sell it in Costa Rica instead of bringing it back to Canada?
Our family’s future travel plans are changing, and the package is already physically located in Costa Rica. Selling it there may make more sense than moving the entire setup thousands of kilometres north again.
Interested in the Complete Package?
Serious offers are welcome. If you’re already in Costa Rica, planning a move there, or know somebody looking for an established truck-and-travel-trailer setup, tell us a little about yourself below.
This helps us separate serious inquiries from general questions and gives us enough information to discuss inspection, timing and the appropriate transfer process.
No payment or deposit is requested through this form. Any potential sale will first require an agreed purchase structure and completion of the applicable ownership, secured-interest and Costa Rican customs requirements.
Private-sale disclosure: Vehicle and trailer information on this page is based on our ownership records, maintenance history and recollection. Mileage, current stored condition and individual component operation should be independently confirmed during inspection. The package is offered as-is. This page is informational and does not constitute legal, customs, registration, tax or financial advice.
