What started out as a venture on a yacht, founding members of Furrion got together to discuss what could be their biggest future vision to date. Entering into the RV market in 2007 and expanding beyond today, this company manufactures a “boat-load” of products for all aspects in the marketing world.
Cars, Yachts, Homes & the Outdoors seem to be the vision and focus of this company and with that, I produce an article that explains about Furrion RV appliances.
As you may remember from a previous article I have written about – Suburban RV Appliances, Furrion is just a small producer in the RV appliance category. With other top name brands like Norcold, Dometic and Camco all participating in this extremely popular theme, Furrion seems to stand out on top with their inspiration and drive focused on helping their customers.
Products of Furrion
Although the primary focus of this topic will dish out which Furrion RV appliances are in existence in the markets today, I want to give you a brief introduction as to what this company manufactures for all of their products.
These tie into 3 categories:
- 1) Electronics
- 2) Energy
- 3) Appliances
In the Electronics section, the products available include things you may have already in your 5th wheel or travel trailer, such as TV’s, outdoor entertainment speakers, back-up cameras, antennas, or even internet & satellite equipment.
For their line of products in the Energy department, Furrion makes products such as off-grid solar panels (much like Bouge RV’s solar panels), inverters, and AC/DC power centers.
Lastly, in the appliance category, Furrion manufactures the following products (listed below), and what will lead to the remainder of this article.
Air Conditioners & Accessories
Furrion “Chill” is what this company has led with to market their line of air conditioners for boats, RVs, camper vans, motor homes, and home based products.
The Furrion Chill is an aerodynamic design that is extremely powerful and available in two colors (Black – Part# 1092-4, or White – Part# 1092-3 15.5K models / Black – Part# 1092-2, or White Part# 1092-1 14.5K models). It’s been engineered with dual fans to increase cooling efficiency and lower operating noise. The construction consists of lightweight materials to reduce the weight impact on your RV roof.
This unit is suitable for both duct and non-duct applications and comes with a variety of digital wall mounted thermostat options for easy control. Ensuring maximum product performance and safety, this unit has been tested using vibrationsmart and climatesmart technology.
It’s key features include:
- -14.6 Amps cooling rating
- -61dB noise level rating
- -Eco-friendly refrigerant
- -Thermo-insulated heat exchanger enclosure
- -3 fan speeds
- -overload protection
- -UV resistant base and rear grille
- -Single and multi-zone options.
Furrion chill comes with a multitude of compatible components also and the exact breakdown of such runs like this:
~ Note: Part Numbers may be hard to read – PLEASE contact us if you need help to retrieve your part number to order your desired parts ~
In the above image it shows that you have all of these parts and products available under the Chill line of Furrion air conditioners, and that is a lot of components. It references the items for manual operation to be that of an air distribution box w/ manual control, or a standard air box w/ manual control.
For the electronic components you are given a single controller which operates for the basic or premium air boxes, which then have their own thermostats. Or, if you go to the multi-control route, this leads you to the basic or premium air box but with an extra choice for a thermostat.
All of these components can be sourced out online through Amazon or other online and box store locations, which you can read about in this article: Where is the Best Source for RV Parts and Accessories. Alternatively, FURRION’s Website or a company known as Lippert has availability to all of these products.
Carrying on within the air conditioning department, there is another part number and product that shouldn’t go overlooked. Within your installation of the rooftop units, make sure you have installed one of these:
This is Furrion’s replacement rooftop gasket and it is used to replace worn-out air conditioner gaskets. This one fits both 14.5 and 15.5K models and is of Part# 1092-20.
Tankless Gas Water Heater
Another of Furrion’s appliances, is that of the tankless gas water heater Part# 564-1 (FWH09A-AM). Unlike Suburban RV water heaters, this tankless version provides endless hot water with consistent temperature all year round.
The innovative vortex technology reduces the risk of hot water scalding and temperature fluctuations by constantly mixing water to a stable temperature for a reliable hot water supply.
What has a heating capacity of 2.4 gallons per minute, you’ll have an instantaneous and consistent supply of hot water without having to wait for a tank to fill. The reason this happens is with its powerful 60,000BTU output which makes the unit heat fast and perform effortlessly.
Features of this tank include:
- -Retrofit design that can replace existing tank or tankless water heaters.
- -Suburban 4/6 gallon – Part# 564-2
- -Atwood 6 gallon – Part# 564-3
- -Atwood/Suburban 10 gallon – Part# 564-4
- -Replacement door sizes including availability for retrofit models.
- -Wall thermostat (included)
The dimensions of this unit are 12.8″ W x 12.6″ H x 19.2″ D.
Microwave With Convection Oven
Available in either a 1.5cu Ft stainless steel (part# 113-47) or black (part# 113-48) model, the Furrion digital microwave combines both power and efficiency. The capacity of each of these units incorporate a speed bake 1450W convection oven and 1500W microwave cooking.
With 10 power settings, electronic controls, 8 programmed one-touch menu settings and 2 speeds, its no wonder this microwave delivers fast, oven-quality results. It’s measurements are 16-1/2″ H x 29-15/16″ L x 15″ D and is the perfect unit for easy, simple and fast cooking.
Refrigerators
Furrion has two sizes of fridges to choose from for appliances. Both 12V Arctic models come in either an 8 cubic foot style (Part# 112-20), or in a 10 cubic foot style (Part# 112-21).
Sold separately are replacement doors in only the black color for the 8cu FT model, while the 10cu FT model has replacement colors of both matte and gloss black as well as a stainless and black stainless steel.
Part #s are as follows for the replacement doors:
- -112-23 = Matte Black 8cuFT
- -112-26 = SS 10cuFT
- -112-27 = Matte Black 10cuFT
- -112-28 = Gloss Black 10cuFT
- -112-29 = Black SS 10cuFT
For the refrigerators themselves, the spacious 12V built-in refrigerator brings advanced cooling and durability in a sleek and elegant package.
Thanks to an innovative arrangement of its components, this fridge offers the largest capacity of any fridge in its class, delivering more storage space than its counterparts (no pun intended).
With energy consumption being an important consideration when they manufactured this product, its high efficiency means the fridge won’t be a burden to your power system, especially when you’re on the move.
Featuring doors with universal hinges, a door reversing kit is not required. For the dimensions of the 8 & 10 cuFT refrigerators, here are the outer dimensions only:
- -8cuFT – 24.25″D x 25.75″W x 53.13H
- -10cuFT – 25.75″D x 24.25″W x 60.15″H
Gas & Induction Cooktops
The appliance line within Furrion has been impressive so far, and as a result, they offer 1 gas cooktop which is a stainless steel version with grate (part# 100-7). This professional, modern-flush mount layout provides a larger cooking area for using multiple cookware at the same time.
The unique and innovative built-in design is engineered to meet strict safety guidelines outlined by RVIA and CSA certifications. Also, the neatest feature I’ve ever heard about is the automatic gas safety cut. What this does is, if the gas is on with no flame, the safety feature will shut the gas off saving lives and potentially fires or explosions.
Its new 3-burner residential layout has 2x high output side burners plus a center griddle burner to simmer or evenly heat the optional griddle plate expanding the cooking diversity.
An induction cooktop is the next and last Furrion appliance in this section, and that is an 1800W 2 burner model (sku # -FIH21G2A-BG).
What cooks food faster using less power, the RV double burner induction cooktop features auto safety shut off, is available in flush mount or table-top versions, plus is incorporated with a hot surface indicator.
While Suburban RV Stoves also have induction cooktops, Furrion’s version seems to be available for purchase only on their website (linked above). Lippert is the other supplier where this product is available from.
Ovens & Ranges / Accessories
Rounding off the remaining item for Furrion’s RV appliances, we are dealing with the following:
- -17″ 2-in-1 Range Oven
- -Stainless Steel – Part# 102-20
- -Black/Silver – Part# 102-21
- -Black – Part# 102-22
- -21″ 2-in-1 Range Oven
- -Stainless Steel – Part# 102-23
- -Black/Silver – Part# 102-24
- -Black – Part# 102-25
- -Range Oven Front Doors (Replacement Products Sold Separately)
- -Black/Silver – Part# 102-28
- -Black – Part# 102-29
- -Replacement Bi-fold Glass (Part# 102-26)
Both 17″ & 21″ gas ranges combine a powerful 7100 BTU oven and a 3-burner cooktop to ensure you have the right amount of heat for making any meal. Boasting one of the largest capacities in the industry, improved heat distribution, electronic igniter and interior light, RV cooking has never been easier.
The 2-in-1 range is equipped with safety features to avoid fire hazards and is built with vibrationsmart technology for protection while traveling on the road. Featuring LED knobs, removable grates and a glass cover, the ovens dimensions are 21.5″ x 26.6″ x 16″ & 21.5″ x 21.6″ x 20″ respectively.
This oven range (17″ version) is our current RV model and the only drawback thus far we have noticed is its hard to light oven burner.
Although the tip and trick we have discovered is quite simple: Depress the gas valve and hold for about 15 seconds, click the igniter button 2-3 clicks while still depressing the gas valve. Once the pilot light ignites, continue to depress for another 3-5 seconds, then quickly release and turn the gas valve to 400 degrees. After 5 minutes, then adjust to the desired cooking temperature.
Conclusion

Hi Jeremy,
Furrion RV Applicances has a great line of products in the Co0nsumer Durables Segment. My search of Tankless Water Heater gets completed through this review.
Are Furrion Applicances available to be shipped throughout the world or do they have regional rights to sell?
Also, a question coming from and Affiliate Marketer like me- Do they provide any Affiliate Marketing Opportunity as well?
I would be glad to order one using your affiliate link.
Regards,
Rohit
Hey Rohit,
Great questions!
So first, Furrion is a Lippert brand, so what this means is that the majority of the products sold come from the company Lippert anyway.
Second, they ship anywhere in North America (Canada and the USA). Being strategic, if you are not in any of those locations, I would suggest an Amazon order with the assumption that they would ship world-wide. I don’t know for sure, I’m not an Amazon king, I just know they have alot of ordering options.
Third, for the affiliate Marketing question, you can sell become an Affiliate with Lippert themselves. You’ll find that infomation on their website. But as for ordering the part directly, again if you are in Canada or the USA, then yes, you can order right through my link attached to the page.
I hope I answered your questions.
