In the final installment of Suburban RV Appliances, this focus will be heated towards informing you of Suburban RV Stove parts; What they are, where you can find them, and whether there are other available options.

As one can never be too prepared for the inevitable, an oven or range are a camp-cooks best friend (next to a BBQ/grille of course), and at any given time something could happen that pauses the attempt of a camp-cooked meal.

This can be drastic, frustrating, and down-right maddening when such things happen.

I can think of at least a dozen scenarios where you would be forced to create an entirely new meal due to propane running out, a burner or range itself not igniting, or even the cover becoming in-operable in which creates extra issues. Whatever the case, I want to have you fully covered in recognizing the list of Suburban RV Stove Parts that are in production to date.

IS SUBURBAN THE ONLY SUPPLIER OF STOVE/RANGE PARTS?

OK, now we can get right into the thick of things, and give you the answer to the above question, which is NO.

In the RV world, I know of at least 4 other major contributors to kitchen appliances, and they happen to be listed below:

1. 1) Furrion
2. 2) Dometic
3. 3) Lippert
4. 4) Camco

Furrion and Dometic respectively, focus mainly on cook-tops, ranges and certain replacement parts, as does Suburban. Each brand has a solid history behind themselves and is geared towards helping the customer.

Lippert is a supplier of many RV parts and accessories and is a superb alternative option in purchasing such parts vs going through a supplier or Amazon.

And Camco is just as spectacular with their line-up of goodies for the outdoor camping / RV world, but they don’t delve into the production of ovens or ranges, they just supply the accessory line for appliances, for the most part.

So what does the Suburban manufacturing company supply for Stove parts? Let’s check it out…

COOKTOPS

Starting with cook-tops, Suburban has 3 main focal points in this supply line.

They are:

• -Slide-In
• -Drop-In
• -Induction

For slide-in cook-tops, they are the perfect size for a small or medium styled RV kitchen. Sporting a 3-burner availability, this style of cook-top “features a 9,000-BTU/h high-output front burner with linear valve and two 6,500-BTU/h rear burners”.

Also, this particular cook-top comes with what is called a Piezo ignition Lighter. According to Wikipedia,

“Piezo ignition is a type of ignition that is used in portable camping stoves, gas grills and some lighters.[1] Piezo ignition uses the principle of piezoelectricity, which, in short, is the electric charge that accumulates in some materials in response to mechanical deformation”.

The only cover-less model is part# 3600A, and can be found through Suburbans parts / dealer page, or through Amazon. There is a covered model available as well, part# 2985 for those who are looking to go that route. Each have a 2-yr limited warranty.

 Next up in this category are the drop-in cook-tops. Here we have two-burner and three-burner options available, and are also the most popular. The two-burner model has a 6,500 BTU burner with front center controls, while the three-burner model has a 6,500 BTU burner in the front and two, 5200 BTU burners in back, with front, right controls.

The 2-burner model is part# 3071A, while the 3-burner model is part# 2938A. Both are available through the Suburban site or Amazon. As well, there is stainless steel, and black color options available. Both seemingly have a 2-yr limited warranty.

Induction cook-tops are the last item on the menu. The theory behind these induction cook-tops, is that you are able to cook with more precision and efficiency. When using Suburban’s Elite Series Induction cook-top, unlike traditional cooking appliances, an induction cooker creates a POWERFUL magnetic field that interacts with ferrous based cookware.

This interaction causes the cookware to generate the heat rather than using open flames or a heated metal coil element, like the old-school ovens used to have.

What makes this unit ideal is how the induction cook-top becomes useful for RVs, campgrounds, cabins, kitchens – almost anywhere you have access to a 120v AC outlet.

Available in a 2-burner (part# 3309A) and single-burner (part# 3308A) option, the single burner features: 1800 watts, a 4-digit LED display, 10 levels of heating power, an auto safety shut-off & child-lock safety feature, smooth, crystal cook-top, and 1 to 240 minute cooking timer.

OVENS & RANGES

While Lippert is one of the ultimate suppliers for ovens & ranges (plus so much more) in the RV world, Amazon seems to have you covered in many other areas. Whichever delivery/shipping method chosen, be extremely cautious which direction you choose.

In saying that, when it comes to dealing with Suburban RV Stove Parts, there’s the odd time when you may just need a complete new unit. Knowing what’s available from the Suburban manufacturing company, will be discussed below.

Only 1 line of stoves are produced and they are labeled as a 17″ Elite Series ( part# 3504A), and a 22″ Elite Series ( part# 3505A) range. If you prefer the built-in cover models of the same dimensions, you’ll be looking at part# 3629A & part# 3630A.

All the above part numbers feature 3-burners, cast iron grate, piezo ignition, and a black door with back-lit knobs (glass door available with the built-in covered models). It also is complimented with large broiler areas and can heat up to 500 degrees F. Not to mention a sturdy, easy sliding oven rack with adjustable, multiple positions.

COVERS

Now as most ovens, and cook-tops go, they come with a glass cover on most Furrion brands, as well as Suburbans line of stoves. But not all ovens come with covers.

Hence, why Suburban sells them separately as a replacement part. The reasoning is as some don’t like the extra platform to clean and some like the rustic looking grate cook-top in their small camper van, trailer, or vintage RV.

But the purpose of the covers, is that it is an attractive cover that turns your range into an extra counter space, which also prevents back splashes.

These are bi-fold of course, and are available in white and black colors. The white model is part# 2747AWH, and part# 2815A (designed for two separate applications), while the black model is part# 2814A. As being the most popular one is the black model.

GRATES / FLAT-TOP GRIDDLES / OUTDOOR KITCHENS

You may ask, why did I put a category highlighting the above mentioned items for stove parts? Well, clearly I want you to have ALL the information you need for all Suburban appliances within this category. With that, it includes grates, flat-top griddles and outdoor kitchen supplies.

For example, each RV oven comes with separate part numbers for their pieces, and grates are one of those options. It is considered a Suburban RV stove part, hence why I am showcasing it as a product!

As far as Flat-top Griddles go, I can only mention that the Suburban line has an 18″ (part# 3060A) and 23″ (part# 3078A) Elite series griddle. Both feature (and direct from(suburbanrv.com)):

Because there is so much competition for flat-top griddles, Suburbans models can only be found through their website (linked above). The likes of other brands however, are readily available on Amazon i’m certain or through Rv dealerships, I’m talking abiout the ones listed below:

In the outdoor kitchen aspect of things, and available through the Suburban website, are a small and large version outdoor kitchen with slide, slide and sink, and optional griddle. One of the models is pictured below, to give you a better visual (Part#-4016EB).
