This guide explores some of the best RV parks in North America with premier golf courses nearby. These locations offer a seamless mix of full-service RV amenities, access to incredible golf courses, and beautiful natural settings.

Why Golfing & RVing Are the Perfect Match

  • Flexibility: You can travel and golf at your own pace, exploring new courses across the continent.
  • Scenic Destinations: Many of the best golf courses are surrounded by mountains, lakes, or oceanfront views, creating stunning landscapes for both golf and camping.
  • Community & Lifestyle: RV-friendly golf destinations often provide a welcoming atmosphere with social events, group outings, and resort-style amenities.

With that in mind, let’s dive into the best RV-friendly golf destinations in Canada and the U.S.

The RV park provides large, full-service sites, modern amenities, and direct access to hot mineral pools—perfect for a post-game soak. Whether you’re here for a weekend golf getaway or a long-term RV stay, the combination of nature, relaxation, and championship golf makes it a standout destination.

2. Tobiano Golf Course & Campground – British Columbia

  • Location: Near Kamloops, BC

Tobiano Golf Course is widely regarded as one of the most scenic and challenging golf courses in Canada. Perched on the rugged hills overlooking Kamloops Lake, it combines dramatic elevation changes, strategic bunkering, and breathtaking views.

The on-site RV park caters to traveling golfers, offering spacious full-service sites with easy access to the course. This is an ideal stop for golf enthusiasts traveling through BC who want to play a championship course without compromising on RV comfort.

RV Parks Near Golf Courses in the United States

The U.S. offers some of the best year-round RV-friendly golf destinations, from desert landscapes in Arizona to coastal fairways in Florida and California. How to Choose the Best RV-Friendly Golf Destination

Selecting the right RV park near a golf course depends on a few key factors:

  • Climate & Seasonality – Do you prefer year-round golf (Arizona, Florida) or summer mountain courses (BC, Colorado)?
  • On-Site vs. Nearby Courses – Some parks have golf courses on-site, while others require a short drive.
  • Amenities & RV Accommodations – Consider the level of comfort, hookups, and resort features that fit your lifestyle.
  • Golf Course Quality – Research course ratings, difficulty, and practice facilities to match your skill level.

Whether you’re an avid golfer or just enjoy a casual round between travels, these destinations provide the perfect blend of RV comfort and premium golfing.

Quite informative.  We try to find a place to camp near a golf course once or twice a year.  Upstate NY has a lot of great state parks, some with golf courses right on site.  Others are near great golf courses as well.  Do you see that in other states?  I’d like to find some great spots outside of my area.  Thanks!

      Hey JT,

That’s awesome to hear! Upstate NY sounds like a hidden gem for RV-friendly golf courses. I haven’t had the chance to explore that area myself, but it’s good to know there are state parks with on-site golf.

There are definitely similar setups across other states, especially in Arizona, Florida, and South Carolina, where many RV parks are either directly connected to golf courses or within a short drive. The Bella Terra RV Resort in Alabama and Desert Shadows in Arizona (both mentioned in the article) are great examples of this trend.

If you’re looking for new golf destinations outside NY, I’d recommend checking out spots in Myrtle Beach, SC—it’s known as the “Golf Capital of the World” and has several RV-friendly resorts near championship courses.

Let me know if you end up planning a trip outside your usual spots—I’d love to hear where you go!

      Cheers,
      Jeremy
